Friday: VBS at Consulate

Our VBS children presented two skits and songs from this year's "Cave Quest" VBS program to Consulate Health Care on Sarno Road. The residents really enjoy seeing the children. Afterwards the children greeted the residents and interacted with them. Fabric was purchased (thank you Thrivent Financial) and 21 lap blankets were delivered along with 15 care kits. Each year the lap blankets are a take-home project for people who are interested in helping during Mission Week, but whose schedules might not allow them to participate during our scheduled events. There's something for everyone during Mission Week!
