Saturday: Habitat for Humanity

It was another early start for our last Mission Week project. At 8am we met at a Habitat for Humanity home. Tasks included cutting and installing baseboards, painting closets and closet doors, and cutting shelving for the closets. Hope also provided the pizza lunch for the volunteers. Due to the 100 degree heat index we stopped early for lunch at 11:00 a.m. and finished the day at noon. Hope works on a Habitat home each quarter as well as provide lunches to volunteers quarterly and when Habitat has a special need.
